Tessier
One goal: Mountains accessible to everyone

TESSIER designs, produces and commercialises a wide range of seated skiing equipment.
Its products have been developed to give a maximum of pleasure, performance and autonomy to people in a situation of handicap.
When the equipment allows a seated skier to have the same autonomy and the same performances as his family or friends who ski with him, the idea of handicap disappears and the goal is reached.
Some skiers won’t be able to ski alone. For them the goal is to make the access to mountains easier and to give them a maximum of pleasure and of autonomy.

After training as a technician and a great experience in different industrial sectors, Pierre TESSIER settled in 1987 in the mountain resort of Saint Sorlin D'Arves ( Savoie, France) where he worked in a holiday centre for disabled people.
He met individuals from the Association des Paralysés de France - French Association for paralyzed people - who were in the process of developing a Chair-Ski that would enable children to benefit from the joys of gliding. Fond of skiing and engineering, Pierre TESSIER became involved in their project in order to improve both upon the material and the training required for the operating of this new apparatus.
